Attempting to circumvent the free-tier daily message limit — including by creating multiple accounts, manipulating requests, or any other method — is a violation of these Terms and may result in account suspension.
Message limits are enforced server-side and reset daily at midnight UTC. The limit cannot be transferred or accumulated across days.

Responses generated by Chunks AI are produced by large language models through OpenRouter's API. While we make efforts to provide accurate, textbook-grounded answers, AI responses may contain errors, oversimplifications, or outdated information.
AI-generated content should not be submitted as your own original work in academic assessments. It is your responsibility to comply with your institution's academic integrity policies. Chunks AI is a learning aid — not a ghostwriting service.
We are not responsible for academic consequences arising from misuse of AI-generated content. Always verify critical information against your textbooks, lecture materials, and instructors.
The Chunks AI application, including its design, interface, branding, code, and original content, is owned by Chunks AI and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any original content you submit (your questions and notes). By submitting content, you grant Chunks AI a limited license to process it solely to provide the Service to you.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Chunks AI application or interface without written permission.
The textbooks available in Chunks AI (including titles by Atkins, Zumdahl, Klein, Harris, Netter, and others) are copyrighted materials owned by their respective publishers and authors. Chunks AI provides access to these materials under appropriate licensing arrangements for educational use.

Chunks AI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Chunks AI and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, including but not limited to abusive use, attempts to circumvent limits, or any prohibited activity.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. Upon deletion, your account data is permanently removed from our database. Locally stored chat history and preferences are removed when you clear your browser data.
Termination of your account does not entitle you to a refund for any unused portion of a Pro plan subscription.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. For significant changes, we will notify you through the app.
Continued use of Chunks AI after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.
